December Newsletter

‘Tis the season to be jolly, and we certainly made the most of it! I’ve never seen people so prepared for Christmas, with our residents hitting the garden centre at the end of November to buy their Christmas tree, ready for it to go up on the 1st of December! By the 2nd, it was fully decorated and everyone was fully into the Christmas spirit with a whole array of decorations going up all over the house.

Over the following few weeks everyone got involved in their own way, with some making Christmas decorations, others baking mince pies, and most making the trip to Gwel an Mor to visit the reindeer.

Christmas jumpers at the ready and we had a big Christmas lunch with cheese and wine in the evening. Presents shared and unwrapped, carols sung, and a good time had by all.

Reaching New Years Eve, it is a good time to look back and reflect… it’s been a fantastic year of change, new faces and positivity in the face of adversity. Every single person has pulled together and we’re excited for what 2022 is going to bring!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
